My Story
I've always been passionate about beauty. From doing hair and makeup for friends and family to filling notebooks with doodles of eyes, brows, and lips. Little did I know, those doodles were pointing me toward my calling!
When microblading surfaced, I fell completely in love with the world of permanent makeup. Knowing the high standards I hold for myself, I was determined to learn from the best, which led me to Ms. Susan Church of the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics, a 30-year industry veteran widely respected in the field. I'm honored to have trained under her and am now a fully certified and insured permanent makeup artist.
I'm also proud to say I'm multi-certified from highly respected artists around the world in microblading, powder brows, eyeliner, lips, scalp micropigmentation, scalp microneedling, fine line tattoos, color removal, collagen rejuvenation therapy, scar revision & relaxation, and melanocyte restoration. Because I always want to offer my clients the very best, I vow to continue learning and growing and to remain at the top of my field!
It was really hard to come up with a name I'd be proud of. One day while brainstorming with my family, my husband shouted "Butterfly Kisses by AJ!" and it just made sense.
I absolutely love butterflies. My clients go through a beautiful transformation, not changing who they are, but enhancing their natural beauty. And just like a butterfly kiss, I promise to always be gentle, sweet, and careful with you.
I'm happily married to one of the greatest guys ever and we have two incredible sons here in Eagle, Idaho. I'm grateful every day for this life I've been blessed with, and as a believer, I feel it's important to pass those blessings on to others.
